Newspaper Articles of Note

Below you will find newspaper articles whose subject matter revolves around governmental misconduct. The purpose of highlighting these stories is not to bash government, but rather to show the need for citizen vigilance. Government agents and officials don't always act in the public's best interest and at times can be downright destructive to individual rights and public interests in their actions. Highlighting these abuses reinforces the basic concept of why we the people have limited the legitimate power & authority in all government with written constitutions which clearly delineate the line between the rights of the individual & the privileges of the state.
